I am working on a friends computer and the start bar is
twice the size it usualy is. When I try to resize it it
almost compleatly disapears. I can move it to any part of
the screen and it is the same. I have tried ajusting the
screen size and no settings change anything. I can see all
other info on the screen. It is just the start bar. I am
not understanding why it will only be double or about 1/4
showing. I use to do windows 98, ME tech support so I am
not someone that does not know anything. Please help.

Disable all 'extra' toolbars such as quick launch.
( right-click, toolbars, and uncheck all). Then resize=20
your taskbar, re-enable the toolbar(s) and LOCK YOUR=20
TASKBAR! (right-click lock the taskbar).

Or:

Click and drag the separator bar over to the right of the taskbar.
It's the separator that looks like four dots and then three dots=20
running side by side vertically. It seems to allow you do a double-=20
decker effect with the task bar. Once you drag the lower one to=20
the right of the taskbar, it allows you to resize the taskbar.=20

--=20
