I need to know how to delete wedsite addresses from my PC
permanently. I have tried

Go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/GENERAL and click on Clear
History

&

Autocomplete...
[tools] button
internet options
content tab
[autocomplete] button
clear these boxes as desired......
[ ] web addresses
[ ] forms
[ ] user names and passwords on forms

but the old wedsite addresses remain....

someone help please?
Thanks

Hi,

See if they appear in this key of the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

If so, delete the associated string values (not the key, just the strings).
