monitor and hard drives

cannot get monitor mode to stick. also, seems xp drops
all drive letters other than c and cd rom drive. is
there any way to configure an unknown monitor? is there
a solution to the dropped drives? thanks in advance for
any answers and/or suggestions. please, send email to

You could try visiting the website of the monitor manufacturer. You need an
INF file that relates specific info about the monitor to Windows. They
should have one somewhere in their support area for your model. To install
an INF file, right click and select Install from the flyout menu.
