cant get flash to work

I cant see any flsh animations under xp, not the ones that
come with xp, not the ones on the web, or the ones i
making myself. I tried ininstalling the flashplayer and
reinstalling it, downloaded the latest directX and
installed it, nothinghelps :(

can someone help please?
