Webcam driver

My USB webcam is no longer working. When I plug it in,
windows thinks it is an unknown device. It has worked
before, but I reformatted my harddrive, and now it does
not recognize the USB device.

Try going to the manufacturer's website and downloading the correct drivers
for it. Since you don't tell us which webcam, we can't tell you where to
go!
