Hello All !

I am new to video editing but I bought few items like Pinnacle Studio DV for
my JVC Camcorder DVM70 some years back and worked well on a Windows 98 based
system. But due could not use it to its best as my job requires alot more
travel. Recently that hobby woke and now I wanted to do the video editing on
my Pentium 4 (2.00 Ghz) machine with plenty of RAM and hard disk space
running on Windows XP professional. The problem I am facing is that captured
video appears on the computer monitor well but there is no sound. Tried
searching the net but could not get any help in this regard to overcome the
problem. I used several capturing software like Pinnacle Studio 8, Ulead
Video Studio, Ulead DVD factroy, Windows Movie Maker II, etc. but the
problem remained there "No Sound". I reinstalled the windows with all the
latest available device drivers but still the problem was there "No Sound".
I need your help badly to overcome this problem. The related hardware is

JVC mini DV Camcorder DVM-70
Creative SoundBlasted Audigy Platinum
Pinnacle's IEEE 1394 Card Internal for connecting Camcorder. (Also used the
IEEE-1394 port available on the Soundblaster Card but still no luck)

Thank you all in advance for your support and help.

Regards.
