I have recently upgraded from Windows ME to XP. The
problem is when I try to play aDVD, I get the following
message: "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk
might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is
not compatible with windows".

I have upgraded EVERYTHING and tried loading the DVD from
Media Player but the option is not selectable. The DVD
player worked fine prior to the upgrade. Under My
Computer, the icon says DVD Drive but when a DVD is
inserted and I select the drive, it comes up with the
above message. I have no idea what to do...feel like I
have dont just about everything. Even reinstalled WinDVD.
Please help!

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite with WinDVD
