Which MS forum is the best to discuss Netmeeting?
My interest is in expanding Netmeeting to be a point to
point....family members....video phone application. We all have XP
Home and I will get head sets and video cameras for everyone...but
before I make such an investment I would like to know exactly how it
might work. It should be possible to get all disbursed family members
into a conversation, I would think. I use Netmeeting to conference at
work and would like to provide the same flexibility over IP for family
conferencing.
My one concern is the ILS....I can't seem to get good info on it. Is
is a separate application that I can run on my home PC or do I need to
subscribe to an outside service? I would like to avoid any connect or
service charges....there are voice over IP applications that allow
point to point voice with no connect charges...well, we all have cable
connections, so that isn't free...but it is a flat rate and always on.
So, is this the right forum, or should I post elsewhere?
