Windows Media Player

When I try to view videos from web sites I get a Windows
Media Error asking if I want to send an error report,
then WMP shuts down. When it tries to open an MPEG file
the error warning comes up. If I check the properties of
the file I am trying to open I can see that it is an
MPEG. but WMP is trying to open it as an audio file. I
have tried updating WMP and reinstalling it. I have
checked to see that I have it set to open all file types.
Anybody else had this problem? Help!!!!

Im having the exact same problem you might want to try this patch
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=328572 it didnt do me any good but maybe
your luck is better.
Also if you do get it fixed could you let me know how?
