I have a problem sometimes when I start up my computer. I
have XP home. When the comp. boots up, it will say
operating system not found. If I restart, it will still
say the same thing. WHen I turn off the computer and back
on again, it boots up normally. What should I do!!

Greetings --
Double-check your PC's BIOS to make sure that it still recognizes
your hard drive. If it does, using another computer, visit the web
site of your hard drive's manufacturer to see if they offer any free,
downloadable diagnostic software. Most do.
If the BIOS no longer sees the hard drive, open the case and make
sure that none of the cables have come loose.
