I have been getting the error "msvc32i MFC Application has
encountered a problem and needs to close." on my PC XP Home
PC and cannot find a reference in the MS Knowledgebase.
Does anyone know what this is and how to correct it?
Thanks.

Brad,
This error appears to be caused by a bit of spyware called Client Man.
First, go here: http://www.odysseusmarketing.com/uninstall/ for a file to
download and additional uninstall instructions. Also, it would be a good
idea to remove the folder under Program Files\ClientMan. In addition, make
sure you check any startup locations for malicious programs (Start -
Programs - Startup, and Start - Run - msconfig, and go to the startup tab.
Uncheck anything that looks suspicious).
Then, download Spybot here: http://spybot.eon.net.au/. Learn how to use it
correctly, and it can be very effective at removing this stuff from your
computer. It's also got a nifty Immunize feature that can help prevent some
of this in the first place. While you're at it, download Ad Aware
(www.lavasoftusa.com) and run that too.
Post back if this doesn't solve your problem.
