I'm new to XP. I've found that when I'm on the desktop if
I press a key such as the "b" key, that if there is no
file/folder on the desktop that starts with a b, I get a
system alert sound. Same with any other letter I press, if
a file/folder/

That is ok I guess, but when I use Team Speak,a
communication program used in gaming, the same thing
happens. And it prevents me from using Team Speak
properly. I've assigned the "b" key to press to talk in
Team Speak. But when I press b, I get a system alert. If I
hold b, it repeats.

I'm thinking this is a XP config problem? Anyone have a
clue? Thanks!

This sounds more like a program problem and not XP.
