Dell C640 XP 2.4 gighrtz with 512 Ram is constantly
having Virtual Memory Problems. We let window control
and we've tried setting ourselves. It seems the paging
file builds up extremely fast to over 1 gig and never
refreshes. Eventually, I will reboot and everything is ok
until the paging file builds up again, which is much
faster than my other XP machins; they never get very
high. Even with just an Excel spreadsheet, I get this
problem. Anyone familiar with a solution?
Thanks

See MVP Alex Nichol's article on virtual memory management in Windows
XP at http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.htm especially the section dealing
with problems.

Good luck
