I'm unable to get any sound when playing a DVD on my
computer. I've checked all the basics already, my
speakers are hooked up properly, sound it tunred up.
I've tried using both Windows media player and
interactual player 2.0.

Hey,

this an actual DVD or a downloaded dvd rip? install perhaps the Ac3 codecs?

What sounds car do you have/

Check to make sure in your sound card setting it is not set up for say 4.1
digital output, when it should only be 4.1 (as is with my system)

It's the actual DVD, and I have a Soundmax integrated=20
digital audio soundcard.
