movie maker 2 not working

This worked for me!!!!

Action: Try to add effects or subtitles in Windows Movie
Maker 2.

Result: Windows Media Player unexpectedly closes.

Cause: Divx codecs installed on the system.

Resolution: Uninstall the Nimo Codecs Pack from add/remove
programs.
