Craig,
I have a Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge and the drivers I
needed loaded automatically. I believe the "Texas
Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" are
actually loaded as part of your "1394 Firewire device".
Mine (an Adaptec DuoConnect) is showing under the "IEEE
1394 Bus host controllers" under Control
Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager.

The Hollywood DV Bridge actually shows under "Imaging
Devices" as a "AVC Compliant DV Tape Recorder/Player"
after its drivers have been loaded properly.

It sounds like your Firewire Connection driver hasn't
loaded properly. Make sure you have loaded Service Pack
1 from Windows Update for XP. Then try updating your
drivers for your Firewire from the Device Manager without
the cd that hardware came with (or with the cd again if
the other doesn't work). This should create the driver
entry you are looking for underneath the "IEEE 1394....."
in Device Manager. If there is already one there with a
different name, you could try to uninstall it and then
reboot to try to get XP to load the Firewire driver you
need. After you see the one for your Firewire, shutdown
and then trying to connect your Dazzle again using the
installation instructions.

I hope this helps..........good luck!
