cannot get onto any secured sites from outlook express

dear group ever since microsoft took away unexpectedly my
msn explorer i cannot get onto any secured sites to buy
anything etc and i guess this is a registry problem and i
do not have the sufficient expertise to fool around with
it now and also i thought that if i perhaps reprogrammed
my computer with the xp software given me by dell for
this 4400 computer i have that this would correct the
problem as well as restore my system restore that is
nonfunctional ever since a klez virus attacked me and i
am looking at some books for beginners for the xp
possibly to help me learn more??? thank you anyone out
