I have been experiencing many problems with my video
card. After the loss of one monitor from the continuous
freezing of the screen, then a click (as monitor turns on)
happening over and over again at times until I restart the
computer. I cannot figure out what is causing this and I
have the latest drivers and updates XP offers. Before I
loose my new monitor from this constant abuse to it can
some one please share some helpful hints to get rid of the
problem.
Thanks,
Stack

Given the small amount of non-specific info you have given, it could be any
number of things:

1. Bad video card
2. Problem with video drivers
3. Inadequate power supply
4. Heat problem (VPU hot; HSF not working)
5. Card not seated in AGP Slot fully
6. Connection on the card is bad (could be the cable from the monitor, too)

You need to take it to a reputable computer repair place and have it
looked at.

You never stated whether the clicking is from the monitor or from the CPU.
Take If the monitor is clicking, it could be having it's own problem (either
the power conversion buss or the flyback transformer, both of which can
cause clicking).

I'm still laughin my BUTT off at the nic "nonobaddog"..too
funny...I agree with Baddog..my first check would've been
the power supply. My ATI Rage Fury Pro with a Slot A AMD
proc REQUIRED a 400 watt PS. Most of your run-of-the-mill
machines have only a 100-200 watt PS, which usually isn't
enough. "RIP = Render In Peace" JD
