trying to learn how to reinstall xp software correctly???

dear group i am trying to reinstall the xp software sent
to me by dell with my 4400 computer and i need to know
more and does anyone know the name of a good book that i
could learn how to do this or some other source of

You need to contact Dell for help. If they sent you a full Windows XP
install disc you can follow these guides:

If they sent you a restore disk only they can help.
