First, this is a wonderful ng. I learn something new each day. There
are many people who I see, some with MVP, who are very knowledgeable
and appear to be tireless in their desire to help others. What's the scoop,
off duty volunteers from MS ? :-)
I really am having difficulty [ as in I can't do it ] deleting programs, many
which don't appear in add / remove, like MSN Gaming Zone and Movie Maker.
Either says I don't have access or the program is in use by another person or
program. How do I clue in my pc that I'm the only user and get rid of stuff I
don't want ?
Thanks
Jim
..I've seen a couple references by posters to searching their
computer [ HAL ]. I guess I'm not the only one and there's a lot
of HAL's out there. <g>

Foamy,
MVP's are all volunteers, and as far as I'm aware, none of us work for
Microsoft. You can find out more about the MVP program here:
http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/
For the second part of your post, MSN Gaming Zone can be removed from
Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components, Accessories and
Utilities, Games, Internet Games.

Thanks for the info and the link Doug. You're all so knowledgeable I
thought Bill would have you on the payroll. :-)
