movie maker quits every time.

using windows xp that was preinstalled on my
computer.anytime i use movie maker and try to use a title
or transition it qiuts on me,with no warning messages.If
it try to edit a movie without the titles or transitions
ig get about 5 mins in to it and it quits again.Is there
anyway of uninstalling and reinstalling movie maker? I
tried looking in the add/remove programs but did not see
it.I dont want to start changing system files etc.
