I have NUM LOCK set in my cmos set up to turn on. At
boot up the NUM LOCK is on until Windows starts, then NUM
LOCK turns off. Why?

How can I stop Windows from turning NUM LOCK off?

Disport,

To enable NumLock through the Registry:

1. Open Windows' Registry Editor (START > RUN, type "REGEDIT").
2. Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard.
3. Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

Reboot and verify the new behavior
