XP updates

During installation of Service Pack 1 I get a
message "Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running
on this computer." and the installation is aborted. I
have checked and the Cryptoo service is running on my
machine. Any idea where the problem is coming from?
