DVD Problem

Have a NEC DVD that plays CD Music with no problem
but.............Have tried several DVD's with no
success. Droppedcren resolution and refresh ....does't
seem to work. Any suggestions out there?

I have Windows 9X media player SW installed plus a couple
pre-loaded programs which came with unit...2002

Windows Media Player does NOT support DVD playback by itself. You must
install a third party app such as PowerDVD or WinDVD. There should be a DVD
program somewhere on the disc that came with the drive.
