which antivirus soft ware is 100% safe?

There is no antivirus software that is 100% safe. Norton Antivirus and
McAfee seem to be very "popular". Several others are probably about as good.
(As the cowboys used to say "There's an ass for every saddle") Look for one
that has an easy to understand interface and is easy to update. Regular
updating of virus definitions is very important!

There is NO 100% safe antivirus because of the simple fact of the lag time
between its creator putting it out there, the AV being able to create a
remedy for it,and your updating your definitions, anywhere from 3 to 24
hours.

Among those products that are 90% safe, I like AVG 6 from
www.grisoft.com. Good price. I also recommend Trend Micro Housecall
online at housecall.antivirus.com. I use them together.

Norton's is by no means the "best in the world".
There are better and cheaper anti-virus packages out there.
