I just brought a new computer a 2.6 gig with 1 meg of
memory, and I'm using a diail up modem for my internet
acess, I'ved had all my phone lines checked by the phone
company, had some background noise and they corrected
that, and every time I get on line I lose my connection,
that computer has had 2 different modems and I still have
the same problem. The old computer that I had never lost a
connection. I've tried to uninstall my msn and
reinstalled the msn and this hasn't solved the problem. I
use just wondering if there has been any other people with
this problem or if you had any ideas how I can try to
correct this problem.
Thanks
Roger

One idea: Do you have a static IP address for your provider, that set of
four number groups up to three numbers each (00 000 0 000) ? I had this
pre-xp and my ISP tech support talked me through how to set it.
