Hey everybody,

I just got Movie Maker 2 and when I'm working on
something it just quits with no warnings or error
messages. It happens when I drag a effect over a video
clip or just randomly doing something like inserting new
video or sound effects. I looked it up and it said to
turn down the hardware acceleration to spet 3 I did try
all of the steps and still have the same problem.

I'm running XP Pro SP1 on a AMD Ahtlon XP 2600+
512 PC2700 DDR Ram
Ati Radeon 9700 Pro with latest drivers
Sound Blaster Live

Any help would be very appreciated.

Allen,

You've tried the acceleration. Now check the codecs:

see the Hardware Acceleration and Codecs page in the Problem Solving section
of www.papajohn.org
