I had tried to install WinXP to my notebook. My notebook
specification is Intel Pentium 4 1.7GHz. 20GB hardisk
space. 128MB RAM.
The features/function of my programs in my system are
running not smoothly. I need time to wait for open the
program.

Is there my system RAM not enough?Somehow I get the basic
requirement for any system want to install WinXP with
minimum RAM is 128MB or higher.

Can you please reply me ASAP.

Thanks

Regards

Dispite what Microsoft says 128MB is not really enough. If you use "fast
user switching" you need atleast 256MB. i recommend 256MB anyway. will
really will see a big change if you upgrade it.

Minimun reguirements usually translates to.. "It Will run. But not very
well. And you won't be able to do anything with it." :)
