Media Player video ?

New XP PC with Media Player 8. Working fine, then some
screens about Codec updates, & now no video from any
MPEGS on the hard drive, or streaming vid off the web.
What's the problem ? All feedback welcome.

Sounds like a problem I have had. Mediaplayer 9 will not play some AVI
files...keeps telling me it needs to download an Indeo codec that the
manufacturer is charging $15 for. Never had problems with Win98!!!
