For the past couple of days a problem that happened 2 or
3 months ago has returned. No matter which program I open
up to watch a video clip or a movie, including real one
player and windows media player, all I get is perfect
sound, but a blank screen. I've tried playing DVD's and
downloading video clips from the internet with no
success. I can hear the video playing but see absolutely
nothing. When I received help for this problem before the
tech on the phone mentioned some device that may be
corrupted and would need to be reinstalled. That did fix
the problem but I cannot remember what it was I needed to
reinstall. Last night I attempted to reinstall windows xp
in the hope that that would clear up the problem, but it
has not. Any help that I could get would be greatly
appreciated.
