Recently, my WMP 9 started having problems opening ASF
files (and ONLY ASF files). I have Divx5.1 installed. I
have tried other media players including Blaze, Ace,
Mplayer, and a few others but all failed. On WMP 9, the
screen freezes, and stops responding. On Ace, I get the
error message: DXPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in
module at 0000:b00c5457. I've tried reinstalling windows,
restoring to wmp 7, repairing internet explorer, and even
tried ASF tools. I have been able to play ASFs before on
my PC with WMP 9. What did I do to cause this?? And how
can I fix it?
