How do you erase your documents from my recent documents
on the start menu?

Right click the Start button, select Properties, Customize (for classic
Start Menu, click the Clear button).
You can also use TweakUI for Windows XP
(www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp) You'll find the
option to clear this folder at logoff or shutdown in the Explorer section,
Clear recent document history on exit.
