I have been capturing Audio and Video with a Pinnacle
Linx USB Plus. The Video is all right, but the audio is
terrible when using that device, no matter what program I
use. I have recently been trying to capture the audio
with an audio cable that runs into my microphone port,
because I have no line-in port on my laptop. Whenever I
try to capture video with the Linx and capture audio with
the mic port, there is a whining noise in the recorded
audio. But when I unplug the Linx and just capture audio
through the mic port, the whining noise is gone, so it
has to be something w/ the Pinnacle thing. It happens in
Movie Maker, Media Encoder, Studio 8, Ulead Video Studio
7. Is there any way I can solve this?
