European Date versus US Date Convention

Need to change the date from the US version to european
version.

mm/dd/yy (US) to dd/mm/yy (european version)

I have window xp

You can find that under Regional and Language Options, on the tab called
Regional Options click on Customize, then go to tab that is called Date and
there you can change it...

At Control Panel - Regional and Language, click Customise, and the Date
page, to choose (or type in) alternative templates
