Media Player 9 stalls, 100% usage created

At odd times playing mpegs, it crashes and does nothing, tying up the
P4, 2.2, 1gig RAM computer at 100% usage. So I have to stop it as a
process.

This is especially true when trying to play an mpeg by clicking on an
internet site.

Help appreciated to figure out how to fix this.

Sounds like an application or process conlict. Try running it in combination
with other programs (actually do this to strategically avoid running certain
programs just to see if that isn't the cause.)
