MovieMaker 2, saving formats?

Hi,

Run Win XP, tried Win MovieMaker 2 using homevideofilm
from my DV cam. Wanted to share a familymovie with
family, but the MovieMaker software seems only to
create .WMV files that a TV DVD player cannot read!! Is
there a way to change format of created moviefile in
MovieMaker, or some additional software to obtain to be
able burn the MovieMaker2-generated film on CD and play
on TV DVD?
