I have an analog camera with a USB cable so that I can
hook it up to the computer and transmit my videos. I dont
know how to install the camera so that I can use Movie
Maker or Media Encoder to capture the video. All that
those programs will let me do is record audio and it wont
record audio from the camera. How do I get the computer
to acknowledge the camera?

Analog video and audio is generally captured through composite audio and
video cables... you should read the manual that came with the camera. Also
if it's USB1.1, it's generally not fast enough to transfer audio and video
without numerous dropped frames, it needs to be USB2.0.
