Install windows 98se first on your C: partition and then
install XP on your next partition. You must install the
oldest version of windows first otherwise you will have
problems. After installing both operating systems, when
you next boot up a menu will appear giving you the option
of booting into Windows 98 or Windows XP

Hope this helps

This is not true, John. As long as the C: drive is FAT or FAT32, 98 can
easily be installed after XP is installed.

See my web site, www.dougknox.com and go to Win XP Tips

For Win9x/Me: Install 98/Me after XP is Installed.
For Windows 2000: Install Windows 2000 after XP is installed.
