I'm having strange happenings trying to load XP from DOS.
When I first tried it, all I got was "setup" on a blue
screen, which was unresponsive. After reading FAQs, I
decided to upgrade the BIOS. I've done that, but when I go
to the CD, the I386\winnt.exe file is not there! What
happened? More importantly, what to I do now? Thanks for
your help.

Why are you doing it that way? Doing this from DOS often runs into problems
and is the slowest possible way to load an OS.

The most efficient (and fastest) way to load WinXP is to do it directly from
the CD. Set your BIOS to boot 1st from CD, insert CD and reboot.
