Movie Maker not Finding my Recordable CD

I have tried everything I can think of to force Movie
Maker 2 to recognize my cd writer. Windows finds it and
will use it. Easy CD creator finds it and will use it.
Please help guys, my hair is turning grey on this one.

Hope it's just a matter of flipping the setting switch. I have to do that on
my new Toshiba laptop, with a DVD/CD burner combo.

Good Morning. I read the entries on papajohns web site.
Very smart man! I was unable to resolve my problem. I can
use the drive with other programs,including writing to cd
as a backup with windows. Only the WMM2 gives me a
problem. Anymore suggestions?
