paul the more you use the computer the more likely your deleted files are
being overwritten. So stop using the computer, do not shut it down, do not
access the internet or take e-mail. All of those activities will write files
to the hard drive and therefore overwrite your data. You may need to help of
a recovery service to get back lost files.
You should also be aware that deleted files may have had their names
changed. If you use Restoration for example
http://hccweb1.bai.ne.jp/~hcj58401/ you will find that .TXT files will
appears as DC001.txt; DC002.txt and so forth, while other files may still
bear their original names.

While listening to the voices in their head blather on endlessly about
inspecific gibberish, paul typed:

:: PLEASE HELP!!!
Is it possible that it is in the recycle bin? Did you empty the recycle bin
after deleting the user profile or folder? HTH &GL!

Unfortunately, if you fail to check the "save files" option when deleting,
they are gone, unless you have access to a third-party undelete tool AFAIK
