U can try going to safe mode and logging in under your
administrator account and see if the document folder is
still there,
also you could try system restore.

short of that... your document folder is history.

Stating the obvious, do you have a back-up you can go to? As Michael
Solomon, a regular contributor to these ng's says, it's a PC User's best
friend.

The suggestion is worth making because it's easy to miss - I recently spent
time sorting out a problem I had caused in an Access Db when all I had to do
was go to a back-up I had made a few days earlier!

With the cost of CD'R's being what they are--around25 cents each, I make
monthly copies of that folder.

Hi Lord_Night. For future reference you should be aware that the My
Documents Folder is protected from System Restore so that process won't
restore the contents of that folder. This is by design so that if SR is used
to roll back in time it won't cause data saved in that location to be lost.
