If you have a OEM version of WinXP, NTBACKUP.EXE might not be included. If
your pc came with a WIN XP CD, you can check the \valueadd folder for the
file and install it. Micro$oft seems to think that buyers of a OEM version
wonīt care for backups! But donīt worry!. There are many (and better) backup
tools on the Internet. Just search with Google.

Lots of succes,

Ben

It sounds like you have the Home version of XP. Do a search for Backup here
http://www.onecomputerguy.com/windowsxp_tips.htm

Be forewarned that the version of Backup that ships with XP Home is
incapable of doing a full system backup, or ASR. Read the txt file that
accompanies the installer.

The decision to not include the Backup Program on some OEM versions is a
decision made by the OEM distributor and not by Microsoft. You are certainly
right in your statement that there are many better programs available. But
just as with WordPad, Misprint, XPs CD Burning software etc there are many
third party apps that are superior. XP ships with a variety of tools that
can help the user "get by" but if you want more power you must pay for it.
