I have been trying to install the firewire adapter in my
dell d600. Upon initial install xp recognized the device
but i got an error 10 on the 1394 host controller. I
hastily uninstalledhe "TI ohci compliant IEEE 1394 host
controller" in hopes that when i rebooted it would start
working. Instead the 1394 controller is gone.... I am
unable to get it back. I try to install it back through
device manager but it says no drivers are available. All
drivers are present as are the inf file in the windows/inf
dir.
Does anyone know how i can get the 1394 controller back??
