Hello all,
I have a new install of Windows 2003 server that is receiving the following
error:
Event ID: 1090
Source: UserEnv
Description:
Windows couldn't log the RSoP (Resultant Set of Policies) session status. An
attempt to connect to WMI failed. No more RSoP logging will be done for this
application of policy.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I haven't been able to find much information on this error. What I have
found is that this error might indicate that the log file for this policy
monitoring log might be full. If this is the case, does anyone know how to
purge this log?
In the meantime, I have turned off this policy in the local group policy
settings.
If anyone has any other advice or suggestions, please let me know!
Thanks!
Shawna
