View Full Version : Folders on Desktop?

Arguing with a friend over this. He has a number of fairly large folders on
his Desktop. I told him he'd be wiser putting them on the root drive and
just making shortcuts to them because Windows is loading them, including
contents, into memory when the PC starts. He says it doesn't matter. Who's
right, I'll accept defeat gracefully if I'm wrong?

If it doesn't matter to him, then he's right ;)
But in the real world, he's wrong.
