Task Bar

My TaskBar suddenly changed from 1/2 inch wide to 1 inch
wide and I can't change it back.

When I uncheck the "Quick Launch" box it goes back to
normal but as soon as I check the "Quick Launch" box it
goes back to 1 inch wide.

How can I get it back to normal?

Right click a blank area of the taskbar, unlock it, drag it back down to
it's normal size, lock it... Work?
