Hi ...

I have an odd problem that has intermittantly plauged me with two installs
of XPpro; not sure if it is a hardware / ram issue or a software tweak that
could help.

When explorer is open and I right-click on a drive > properties reveals the
"pie-graph" disk usage box. However, often when I right-click a folder - in
either pane - and go "properties", I get nothing. Nothing happens.

It seems to happen more often than not. Today, so far, it is working.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Having two installs of one operating system on the computer on the same
partition, can sometimes cause conflicts in the operation of it, as they are
trying to rely on each other to do work, but they are intertwined.
You may want to look @ backing up all your important data to another
location, such as a secondary hard drive/partition or removable media, then
do a clean installation of the operating system. This way it would tell you
whether it is a hardware related issue or whether it be the software that is
installed on the computer itself.
