For some reason when I go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com
I get "Your current secucity settings prohibit running
ActiveX controls on this page" This happens on any
ActiveX pages.
I am running XP SP1 and IE 6.0.2xxx
I have Lowered all securty settings in IE
Enabled all ActiveX controls/scripts
Complete net stop crysptsvc
and renaming and restating.
I ran sfc /purgecache and sfc /scannow
I serach for ui*.dll and deleted per Knowledgebase
and still get the same error
When I try to download an update manually like IE6SP1 or
DirectX9.0 it tells me that the software has not passd
Windows Logo testing.
Please Help

Tools>Internet options...>Security tab.
In next dialog box, scroll down to, "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins. Be
sure "Disable" is NOT selected; other two should allow it.

Hi Rob,
In all probability you only needed to register: wintrust.dll. However,
this script covers them all.
