I like your Constitution blurb. according to the Constitution, the
Government is supposed to NOT prohibit the free expression of religion. yet
we continually see never-ending attempts to prohibit this very freedom
thousands have died to protect.

Roxio has an update to version 5.3.5 for the Basic edition.
It has updated drivers and fixes previous problem within XP.
If you need help, I suggest that you visit the Roxio site
and download the update. Then follow the instructions to
make a DATA CD project. You select the files you want to
copy. Making a music CD or a data CD should not be a
problem, whether the file extension is .txt, .doc, .bmp. or
..jpg or even .mpg. There is something you are not doing
correctly that is causing the problem.

Thanks for the compliment. I've been interested in law and
government for about 50 years. I've attended city councils,
state legislatures, watched C-SPAN and read law reviews and
history books, every law passed, for a long time into the
past has had a severability clause, which is saying, we
passed this into law, but if a court over-turns part of the
law the rest stays in effect.
Not just religion, but tax laws, gun laws, even your
building codes are passed and often there is a discussion of
whether the law would be constitutional. It is passed and
signed into law, with the comment that IF it is
unconstitutional, the courts will fix it. As we can see
with McCain-Feingold, the Court is also part of the problem.
Good luck with your CD-RW problem, it really isn't that
difficult.
